We live in a world where disasters can strike at any time. As case managers, we must be prepared for their impact. It is vital for case managers, facilities, and communities to realize what a case manager’s role is during and after a disaster. Erin will share her first-hand experience living through a fire that ravaged her hometown of Paradise, California and the valuable lessons she learned from experiencing that disaster through the eyes of a case manager. Leave with a better understanding of how you can get involved in disaster planning within your own communities and facilities.
