Continuing Education is a cornerstone of CCMC’s New World Symposium and we know it’s an important factor when you are deciding whether you will be attending. Each year after the program is set for the Symposium, CCMC staff work together with accrediting bodies to determine the number of continuing education hours that are approved to be offered.
These numbers may change from year to year based on each accrediting body's requirements. The number of CE approved for the 2020 Symposium may also vary by credit type. As a helpful point of reference, for the New World Symposium 2019, attendees could claim up to 17 hours of CCMC and CDMS continuing education credits and up to 14 continuing education credits/contact hours for most other credit types the Symposium was approved to offer.
At this time, we are unable to advise regarding the exact number of CE credits available for each credit type we plan to apply for in 2020. We will share as that information becomes available as the Symposium approaches, please check back here for updates!
The Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Please call 856-380-6836 if you have any concerns or questions about this event. We will work to resolve your question at that time, should additional support or research be required, we will escalate your case to a senior staff member and they will work to resolve your concern directly. While we make no guarantees about resolution timeframes, most callers receive a resolution on the initial call to the call center, and we have not yet experienced delays of over 24-48 hours.
