This session looks at what qualifies an employee to be covered under the ADA. It will describe the steps the organization can take to accommodate the employee, illustrating the types of reasonable accommodations that will assist case managers in working with employers to implement those that do not pose an undue hardship.
Define disability and how to determine if an employee is qualified under the ADA.
Describe steps an organization can take to accommodate employees using a 6 step interactive process.
Illustrate types of reasonable accommodations, accommodations granted, and undue hardship.
