Gail Ballin is a behavioral health expert with a diverse background in counseling, healthcare, and disability claims management. Gail has been working in the Group Insurance industry for close to 20 years. She’s worked for numerous third-party administrators and carriers and has taken on larger and more challenging roles as she advanced her career.

For the last two years, Gail has served as the Vice President of clinical and vocational services for Prudential Group Insurance. In her role, Gail leads of team of professional experts including registered nurses, physicians, behavioral health specialists and vocational rehabilitation professionals. As a thought leader, Gail, has authored numerous white papers and articles focused on behavioral health. In addition, she has co-hosted webinars focused on mental health in the workplace. In 2020, she presented at the DMEC conference as part of a panel discussion on suicide awareness and is slated to speak at the Clinical Case Management Symposium in 2021.

Gail has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa and holds a master’s degree in counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She is a licensed professional counselor with a board certification in clinical case management.

When she’s not working, Gail enjoys refurbishing furniture, traveling, exploring, reading and spending time with family and friends.
