Helen has around 8 years of experience in healthcare. Prior to working for the Department, she worked for an ACO/CIN at HealthONE. During her time at Colorado Care Partners (CCP), she served various roles such as leading the Population Health Navigation team, and prior to that, leading the Care Navigation team. She has played a major role in program developments such as creating transition of care workflows, developing a data validation process involving the collaboration of multiple departments such as the data team, payor partners, and population health team to ensure efficient and accurate results for the clinicians in the network. She has also spearheaded QI projects to improve performance and shared savings opportunities which resulted in increased STARS rating in patient experience and increased funding to the CCP network from several of their payor partners. Helen has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Integrative Physiology with a certificate in Public Health from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has also received her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Walden University in 2020.
