Clinical Social Worker
About
During early years in Kristina's career as a social worker, it became evident to her that self-care was often discussed but perhaps less often practiced regularly by many in helping professions. One of the most rewarding aspects of working remotely has been realizing the necessity of adaptable self-care, especially social connection, and moving through stages and seasons of life with gentle self-compassion and acceptance of the need to modify self-care and what it means over time. Kristina will speak candidly about how small, practical steps can combine to create a foundation of self-care that may enhance our ability to minimize the impact of burnout or compassion fatigue.
