About

Margaret has been studying needs of the older worker for over 20 years. Margaret earned a master's degree from the University of Illinois and a Doctorate Degree from the University of Iowa where she studied Disability and Rehabilitation. She is licensed as a Counselor in the states of Illinois and California, and is a Certified Case Manager. Upon graduation from the University of Iowa, Margaret was recruited by California State University, San Bernardino, where she developed an accredited master's degree program in Rehabilitation Counseling which had a bilingual emphasis. Margaret wrote over 6 million dollars' worth of grant applications for funding to help students from underrepresented populations obtain their master's degree. Margaret believes the fields of aging and rehabilitation complement each other.
