Director, Clinical Strategy & Practice


In her role as Director of Clinical Strategy & Practice Rhonda has responsibility for Clinical & Leadership Development to support clinical excellence and leadership opportunities that strengthen, advance and retain Humana’s community of 10,000 nurses.

Rhonda has a diverse leadership background in the Healthcare industry. Prior to joining the CNO she was a leader in Market Clinical Strategies with oversight of programs designed to enhance the member experience as well as their overall health. Before joining Humana Rhonda held various leadership roles at Norton Healthcare including responsibility for 4 ICU’s and a long-term vent specialty unit.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in nursing with a concentration in critical care, cardiac care and managed care. Rhonda has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville and a Master’s of Science with a concentration in Management from Indiana Wesleyan. She is a Registered Nurse licensed in Kentucky & Indiana and is a Certified Managed Care Nurse. She is a current member of The American Nurses Association, The American Organization of Nursing Leadership and The American Association of Managed Care Nurses. She currently serves as a board member for the American Association of Managed Care Nurses.
