Vice President of Managed Care
Terri is vice president of managed care at Council on Aging. She is a thought leader in case management and home and community-based services, utilizing evidence-based practices to drive health and quality initiatives in home and community-based long-term care settings. In her role at the Council on Aging, Terri oversees multiple Medicaid and Managed Care programs that help over 6,500 older adults and individuals with disabilities maintain independence.
She has 20 years’ experience as a social worker, framed by over 15 years spent in health care and Medicaid. Before coming to the Council on Aging, Ms. Bunting was the manager of long-term services and supports for Molina Healthcare of Ohio. Terri holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Wright State University and a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University. Additionally, Terri is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio and the state of Kentucky and holds the following certifications: Accredited Case Manager, American Case Management Association; Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, National Association for Healthcare Quality; and Certified Case Manager, Commission for Case Management Certification.
In addition to her work at the Council on Aging, Terri has a passion for developing other professionals and community service. She has provided over 1,000 hours of continuing education to nurses and social workers throughout Ohio. Ms. Bunting serves on the Advisory Board for the Women in Leadership Program at Ashland University and on the Board of Directors for two Cincinnati area non-profit organizations.
