Alexis Sabul, LCSWA, CCM is a clinical social worker and Child and Family Specialist with 11 years of experience in crisis and case management. She obtained her BA from the State University of New York at Fredonia in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology in 2014. She earned her Master of Social Work from Long Island University – Post with a concentration in Forensic Social Work in 2016. She currently works for the Union County Public Health Department in North Carolina as their Child Health Social Worker and Behavioral Health Care Manager. She has led the efforts, alongside Dr. Tran, to implement the Collaborative Care Model in the Child Health Clinic establishing the Child Health Behavioral Health Program. She has previous experience in child welfare and as a Forensic Social Worker. While at the Legal Aid Society (LAS), she held a pivotal role in the development and management of LAS’ first Youth Leadership Board. She also has presented on the impact of vicarious trauma in the profession of social work. She moved to Charlotte, NC in 2022 from Brooklyn, NY with her husband.
