Dorothy Tran, DO is a family physician who has been practicing medicine for over 10 years. She attended medical school at Midwestern University - Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. She completed her family medicine residency training at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. 

She began her career at Atrium Health NorthPark, where she implemented CenteringParenting, a nationally recognized group-based model of care that strengthens the bond between parents and children while building supportive communities.

She later served at the Union County Health Department, where she, alongside Alexis Sabul, LCSW-A, championed the Collaborative Care Model for pediatric patients, expanding access to mental health resources within the primary care setting.

Today, Dr. Tran practices full-scope family medicine at the Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic and the Hope Community Clinic, where she remains passionate about providing comprehensive, equitable care and ensuring patients of all ages have the resources they need to thrive.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, gardening, and cooking.
