Renee Panec, an RN for over 30 years, CCM, and board-certified health and wellness nurse coach (HWNC-BC), understands the complexities of elder care both professionally and personally. She is a daughter to a 90-year-old Mom, a daughter-in-law to a 93-year-old mother-in-law, a mother, and a sister-in-law to a disabled adult. Like many healthcare professionals, she witnesses firsthand the challenges families face trying to balance a loved one's desire for independence with increasing needs as their physical and mental abilities change. Renee sees the disconnect and struggles, and recognizes that both families and often professionals lack the necessary skills or tools for these sensitive conversations.
