Dr. Vivian Campagna is the chief industry relations officer (CIRO) for The Commission for Case Manager Certification. As CIRO, Dr. Campagna’s primary focus is to work with individuals and/or organizations that are interested in Certification (CCM®/CDMS®) and related products and services; to foster strategic partnerships and professional alliances, aligning organizations integral to case management practice; and to provide insight and guidance related to industry trends and developments.

She has been involved in case management for over thirty years in multiple practice settings including acute care, healthcare benefits, and workers’ compensation. She has written extensively on case management topics, presented at case management conferences, and taught continuing education courses. 

As a board-certified case manager, Dr. Campagna’s research interests lie in the area of efficacy of preparation and continuing education for the case management community. She has developed workshops for new and seasoned case managers to understand the application of the case management process across all practice settings. Additionally, she has written and presented current and future trends in case management and the advocacy of clients to enhance workforce development for numerous organizations.
