With the current rapid growth of our aging population, along with rising healthcare costs and staffing shortages, the need for a holistic interdisciplinary approach to planning, care delivery, and policy is more critical than ever. This session will describe the challenges associated with an aging population, including health care demands and social support needs, and address healthcare's current and future impact on this population, healthcare policy, and economics. The session will address the unique needs and concerns of the population. It will offer creative, collaborative solutions to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life for older adults, incorporating aging life care into public health policy initiatives, including collaboration with healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers, to effectively address the needs of the aging population at both individual and societal levels.
