Ms. Kate Granigan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College in 1994. She has worked as a clinician in the field of aging for over 27 years.

Ms. Granigan is currently the Chief Executive Officer for LifeCare Advocates, a care management practice in Newton serving Eastern Massachusetts.

LifeCare’s team of Professional Care Managers have backgrounds in Nursing, Medical Social Work and Physical Therapy and provide assistance, advocacy and guidance to older adults and their families.

Ms. Granigan is an active member of a number of Boards and Groups focused on aging, including the Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Guardianship Association, and the Aging Life Care Association, and is the 2024 President. Ms. Granigan writes and lectures regularly on topics related to aging, caregiving, and elder care.
