Angera is a Southwest Atlanta native and a compassionate Social Worker/ humanitarian focusing on people centered approaches, restorative justice and wellness as guiding principles for life. Angera joined Pad June 14, 2021 as a Care Navigation Intern, progressed to a Care Navigator by September 2021, gained the experience of being a Care Navigation Team Lead by May 2022 and as of December 2023 promoted as a Care Navigation Supervisor. With seven years of experience in working with the unhoused population in Atlanta, Angera brings compassionate care and empathy in meeting people in their unique circumstances. Angera has strong interpersonal skills to create more cohesion within work environments. Angera’s educational experience stems from a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University and Master of Social Work degree from Clark Atlanta University. In her free time, Angera enjoys spending quality time with family, grounding herself in nature through walks with soul dog Ra' Ja, connecting with community through service projects/events and marveling at her son’s growth!
