Owner/President of LMR Elder Care, LLC, Lisa Bayer, is a licensed Attorney, a Board-certified Case Manager (CCM) an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association® and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Lisa uses her legal and social services experience to advocate on behalf of her clients and their families. Her law background is especially helpful when a case involves complicated legal issues such as understanding how and when to use power of attorney documents, family elder care mediation, reviewing long term care facility agreements, navigating the long term care insurance process, describing Medicaid and asset protection planning rules and requirements, and guardianship matters.

Before attending law school, Lisa was a case manager with Boston Senior Home Care, a non-profit organization overseen by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Upon earning her law degree, Lisa worked with Mobilization for Justice (formerly known as MFY Legal Services) in New York City specializing in Social Security law. At MFY, Lisa maintained a caseload of more than 75 clients, supervised outside lawyers seeking pro bono credits, and developed and provided pro se clinics to standing room only attendees on an ongoing basis.
